METHODS / APPROACHES / MODEL LEARNING
 part 1.
Quite a lot is the kind of approach / method possible / learning model with many-advantages and disadvantages, it's just important to note that the implementation is the compatibility. Not all learning methods will be suitable to the type of subject matter presented in front of students. Therefore every teacher should be smart to choose a method or model of learning to suit their subject or the subject matter to be taught. The following will be presented several types, which are summarized from various sources including the results of the training / refresher courses.
A.ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING Approach / model ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING learning (EL) is a learning approach in practice requires that teachers try to increase the involvement of the learners (students) through the utilization of the environment as a learning resource The types of environments that can dipagai as a source of learning by students include:
1. Environment includes physical factors, biology, sociology, economics and culture. 2. Community environments that include any elements or existing facilities in a community group 3. Local experts that includes community leaders, scientists, officials, which can be used as a resource, etc. Terms - conditions that are required in the application ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING approach include: 1. The content and procedures there is a relationship between materials, the environment and the learner 2. Knowledge provided should provide a way out in response to environmental 3. The theme should fit the needs of learners environment. The application of this learning approach can be done by: 1. Learner brings to the environment associated with learning. 2. Bringing learning resources from the environment to the school (classroom). Advantages Inveromental Learning Approach A. Learners are not bored with what is learned 2. Learners gain knowledge and understanding by observing their own 3. Benefit the environment 4. Fosters a love of learning for the environment Weakness Inveromental Learning Approach 1. For specific learning costly 2. Enough energy 3. Long time 2. EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING Is a form of learning in which students perform an experiment on a matter; watch the process: analyze, prove, and draw your own conclusions about an object, situation or process anything. We Learn • 10% of what we read • 20% of what we hear • 30% of what we see • 50% of what we see and hear • 70% of what we say • 90% of what we say and do The purpose of experimental learning 1. With the experiment, students search for and find their own answers to various problems faced by conducting its own experiments. 2. Students can be trained in a scientific way of thinking (scientific thinking) in the face of problems, so it is not easy to believe in something that has not been true. 3. Students found evidence of the correctness of the theory of something that is being studied. 4. They are more active thinking and doing; terms of where it is desired in a modern teaching and learning activities, where students are actively taught myself with the guidance of teachers. Things that must be prepared teachers in the use of experimental learning 1. Set a goal of experiments 2. Prepare equipment and material necessary or 3. Prepare an experimental area 4. Consider the number of students in accordance with the available tools 5. Note the safety and health in order to avoid the risk 6. Notice the order or discipline, especially in maintaining equipment and materials to be used. 7. Give an explanation of what to watch for and steps - steps that must be done learners. Procedures that must be considered in the experimental learning 1. It should be explained to the students about the purpose of the experiment, they must understand the problems that will be proven through experimentation. 2. Students need to be explained; tools and materials to be used in the experiment, the sequence of experiments, the important stuff is what will be recorded and the need to establish the form of notes or a description of reports, calculations, graphs and so on. 3. During the experiment progresses, the teacher must supervise the work of students. If necessary, give advice or questions that support the course of the experiment perfection. 4. After the experiment is completed the teacher should collect the students' research results, discuss the class and evaluate the tests or just questions and answers. Excess Experimental Learning 1. Make the students more confidence in the correctness or conclusions based on experiments 2. Can foster students to make new breakthroughs in the discovery of the beneficial results of his experiments and human life. 3. Valuable experiments can be utilized for the prosperity of mankind 4. In addition students gain academic knowledge, students also discover practical experience and skills in the use of experimental tools Experimental deficiency Learning 1. This method is more appropriate to the areas of science and technology 2. This method requires a range of facilities equipment and materials are not always easy to obtain and expensive contued..... part 2
